The conversational AI engine runs on Claude (by Anthropic) — the same large language model that is gaining serious traction as a GPT-4 alternative. We chose Claude for its reliability, instruction-following precision, and natural conversational tone. When you chat with Cosmos Studio, Claude is the brain interpreting your requests and generating design decisions.

The backend is entirely serverless, running on Cloudflare Workers with D1 (Cloudflare’s SQLite-at-the-edge database). This means your sites load fast — really fast — from data centres close to your users in Australia and around the world.

Subscription management is handled through RevenueCat, giving us native App Store and Google Play billing integration. And we built in support for 20 languages with on-demand locale loading, so Cosmos Studio works for multilingual communities across Australia and internationally.

Here is the part that still surprises us: we built the entire studio — both the mobile app version and a separate web version — in two days using Claude Code. That is 27 files for the mobile app and 30 files for the web app, including a four-step design wizard, WCAG accessibility validation, deployment pipeline adapters, and Cloudflare Workers integration. The speed of AI-assisted development is no longer theoretical. We used it to build a product, and now that product uses AI to help others build theirs.
