Gist

4. Awesome Studio Mobile App

The following additional disclosures apply to users of the Awesome Studio app (available on Apple App Store and Google Play).

Data Collected by the App

• Account information: Email address and password (or Sign in with Apple / Google credentials)
• Business information: Business name, description, services, branding details and other content you provide during the app setup process
• AI conversation data: Messages you send to the AI concierge to build your app brief
• Subscription and purchase status: Plan tier, subscription dates, and transaction identifiers (managed by Apple/Google)
• Crash and performance data: Anonymised error reports to improve app stability

Third-Party Services Used by the App

• Anthropic (Claude AI): Powers the AI concierge feature. Business information you provide may be processed by Anthropic to generate app content. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: Provides authentication and database services for the app. Stores your account credentials, business profile, and related data. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Manages in-app subscriptions and purchase verification. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: Hosts the app's backend infrastructure. Data is stored in Cloudflare's data centres. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Sentry: Collects anonymised crash reports and performance diagnostics. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.
• Expo (EAS): Used to deliver app updates and push notifications. See Expo's Privacy Policy.

Each provider acts as a sub-processor under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA). All data transfers in transit are protected with TLS 1.2 or later. At-rest encryption is provided by each sub-processor's standard security controls.

In-App Purchases

Awesome Studio offers subscription plans processed entirely through Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store your payment card details. Subscription management and cancellation is handled through your Apple ID or Google Account settings.

Account Deletion

You may delete your Awesome Studio account at any time from within the app (Account → Delete Account). This permanently removes your account and all associated business data from our systems within 30 days. This right is available regardless of your subscription status.

Children's Privacy (App)

The Awesome Studio app is intended for business owners aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the app.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to enhance your browsing experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:

• Essential cookies: Required for the website to function properly
• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use our site
• Marketing cookies: Track your visit across websites to display relevant content

6. Data Security

Authentication tokens stored on your device are kept in the platform's secure store (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Backend databases provide at-rest encryption through our sub-processors. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Contact form submissions are typically retained for 3 years. Awesome Studio app accounts and associated business data are deleted within 30 days of an in-app deletion request.

8. Your Rights (Australia)

Under Australian Privacy Law (Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles), you have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of marketing communications

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you additional rights regarding your personal data. Under the GDPR you have the right to:

Our lawful bases for processing under GDPR are: (a) performance of a contract (account creation, providing the App service), (b) legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement, security), and (c) consent (marketing communications, optional analytics). Where we transfer EU/UK personal data outside the EEA we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
