FitTrack Australia, a boutique gym chain with 5 locations across Sydney's Northern Beaches and Hills District, was struggling with member engagement and retention. Their average member stayed just 4.2 months, well below the industry benchmark. Class attendance was inconsistent, members felt disconnected between visits, and the front desk was overwhelmed managing bookings via phone and walk-ins. They were losing approximately $8,000 monthly to member churn.
Our Solution
We developed a comprehensive member engagement app using React Native for cross-platform deployment. The app features real-time class booking with waitlist management, personalised workout tracking with progress photos and measurements, social features including leaderboards and workout buddy matching, push notifications for class reminders and motivational messages, and integration with popular fitness wearables. The app also includes a digital membership card and access to on-demand workout videos.
